Snapshot

Brief Description of Law College

A taught Masters degree provides an opportunity for in-depth study of your chosen law or law-related field and combines group teaching with independent research. The LLM degrees offer an academic qualification rather than a professional qualification, and as such do not provide a concentrated study of Scots or English law. Rather, the LLM explores central legal questions in their comparative, European and International context as appropriate, delivering transferable skills in legal research and analysis so that our graduates can pursue a broad range of career options with the benefit of this widely recognised qualification from a prestigious international university.
