Hi,

I just wanted to alert about this scam going on in the market. You may get a mail claiming that there was some problem with your paypal account. The mail will ask you to click on a link to restore your account access. This is a totally fake mail aiming at stealing your information. Do not fall into the trap and click on the link. The link may

  • Install a malware on to your website, or
  • When you click on the link the paypal login page will appear asking you to login. If you notice carefully, the page layout will be same as paypal but the url serving the page will not be paypal. If you login into your account using this page, your paypal information will be captured by the Phisher.

Things to note about this mail are :-

If you are really concerned about the safety of your paypal account on recieving this mail, then open a new browser, type in the address www.paypal.com and then login into your account using your login information.

In accordance with PayPal's User Agreement and Privacy Policy, and to ensure that your account has not been compromised yet, access to your account was limited.

To secure your account and quickly restore full access on your account, we encourage you to log in and perform the steps necessary to restore your account access as soon as possible by clicking the link below:
