File saving error in Internet Explorer 7
In Internet Explorer 7, when you click File > Save As… the file does not save.
You may get the following error:
For your computer’s security, this file was saved to your Temporary Internet Files folder. Do you want to open this folder?
On choosing “Yes”, the folder opens, but the file is not there. To solve this problem, perform the following steps:
- Click on Tools > Internet Options.
- Click on the Security tab, then click on Trusted Sites, and then click Sites.
- Under “Add this Web site to the zone” type the URL that you want to save.
- Click Add, click Close, and then click OK.
- Under the Security tab, uncheck the Enable Protected Mode setting
- Restart Internet Explorer
